Here at Vanguard we can offer a wide selection of storage rooms, allowing you to store the contents of an entire house, your children’s belongings when they go on a gap year, or just garden furniture for the winter. Vanguard can also arrange for a driver and vehicle to transport goods to the store and take them back home again at the end of the storage period. There are 10-feet (3m) high rooms on the ground floor that are ideal for heavier, larger items and the upper floors have rooms that are at least 7-feet 7-inches (2.4m) high; sizes vary from 20 to 250 square feet. Each unit is locked with its own key, so is therefore accessed only by you.

Vanguard make it as easy as possible to transfer your items from the loading bay to the storage room by providing a wide range of trolleys and lifting equipment – and even complimentary porters – to make the movement of even the heaviest items quick and effortless. There is a low-headroom, 2-ton capacity forklift truck on the site and a heavy-duty lift serving all floors. The ground floor rooms for larger or heavier items are ideal for commercial customers who require storage and distribution facilities.

All rooms are individually alarmed and computer monitored by the latest in 24-hour Chubb or ADT smoke and fire detection and warning systems. Friendly and helpful staff are available to advise on the best size of room to suit your particular storage requirements and advise on wrapping and storing valuables.

Adding to the natural security of the site, there is a state-of-the-art computerised access log and control system with proximity entry or coded keypad for customers’ own personal codes.

This will give free access to storage rooms as often as required during operating hours. High-definition recording digital CCTV provides round-the-clock cover for all rooms and common areas, inside and out, and is constantly monitored by security staff.
