Is it a bird, is it a plane?

The answer is no, it’s a flying piece of a customer’s caravan.

Exceptionally high winds last Thursday had one unexpected consequence, a large panel section from a caravan stored for a Vanguard customer was blown off and was last seen many feet in the air as it soared off in the direction of Swinton Centre.

Chris Wright, a Vanguard customer service advisor, sprang into action and following door-to-door enquiries with neighbours, an all-points bulletin and a hunt through various gardens the missing section of the caravan has now been found and has recently been reunited with its owner.
