Staples Corner
In January 2023, Vanguard opened its 8th store at 717 North Circular Road in Staples Corner, London.
Vanguard had acquired the site from Storguard in 2019 as part of the transaction Vanguard Filebank acquired the existing Storguard document storage business. The entire site was demolished and Vanguard built a state-of-the-art self-storage and document storage centre. The new building can house 55,000 document storage boxes and 60,000 sq. ft. of self-storage
The new building is also home to the F1 Hawker Hunter WT555, which is the very first production Hunter. This plane first flew on the 16th May 1953 and was accepted into the Royal Air Force by the Duke of Edinburgh. Vanguard purchased the plane from RAF Cosford in 1989 and over the years it has made many appearances on the tower at our West London store.
