Vanguard Hawker Hunter on Display

The Vanguard Hawker Hunter, which last saw the daylight about ten years ago, is now back on display on the Vanguard building on the Western Avenue at Greenford.

The wind had picked up a little this morning but despite this there was no drama as the sixty-year-old Hunter was craned into position. WT555 is an important airframe as it was one of the original development aircraft. This Hunter has been owned by Vanguard for over twenty years having been acquired from an MOD auction.

If you travel on the A40 Western Avenue look out for the Vanguard Hunter, it is not difficult to spot!
