It Never Strikes Twice!

 

Whilst we have all come to expect the worst of the weather this summer events on Saturday took an unexpected twist when the Vanguard building was struck by lightning on Aug 6th. The charge was safely conducted to earth via our lightening conductor and aside of what was a disconcerting bang and the inadvertent activation of building alarms no harm was done. You know what they say, it will never strike twice!
